As an Commercial Estimator, you'll be one of the first eyes on new opportunities, but don't worry if you're not an expert from day one – our estimating team is made up of a motivated professionals ready to guide you through the industry's ins and outs. You’ll be working directly with our Precon Manager and another Estimator and play a crucial role in our revenue-driving bidding and estimating process, working on commercial projects. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial construction projects including municipal, government, industrial, interior office build out, and more!

Here’s a preview of what you’ll do as an Estimator:

• Learn bidding and estimating best practices from our Precon Manager and other Estimator.
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work.
• Create detailed cost estimates for all phases of design and construction.
• Analyze architectural drawings, perform material takeoffs, and obtain pricing.
• Collect and analyze data affecting costs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with the team, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.

Qualifications:

• A college degree in construction management or a related field is preferred but not required.
• 1-5 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Tech-savvy with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Belief in the importance of being part of a collaborative team.
