About Us: We are a general contractor licensed in over 25+ states with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Superintendent to oversee multiple project sites across different locations.

Job Summary: The Traveling Superintendent will be responsible for managing and supervising construction projects at various locations. This role involves ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with company standards and client specifications. The Traveling Superintendent will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Oversee daily operations at multiple job sites, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Team Management: Supervise and coordinate activities of subcontractors, site foremen, and construction workers. Provide guidance and resolve any issues that arise on-site.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and enforce quality standards for construction work, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and address any delays or issues promptly.
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing project budgets, including tracking expenses and managing costs to stay within budget.
  • Client Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of daily activities, project changes, and any incidents or issues that occur on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience as a superintendent
  • Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel frequently to different job sites. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
