About the Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join our client’s finance team. This role is integral to maintaining the financial integrity of a company renowned for its commitment to excellence, innovation, and community-focused development projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial operations within the real estate or construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions in compliance with company policies.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.

• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices.

• Collaborate with project managers and vendors to ensure proper documentation and approvals.

• Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare relevant financial reports.

• Maintain organized financial records and support audits as needed.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable roles, preferably within the real estate or construction industries.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
